Terri Speaks!

From the CNN.com article:

A Florida state judge is expected to rule by noon Saturday on an emergency motion filed by Schiavo's parents, who contend that their brain-damaged daughter has expressed the wish to live.

"She managed to articulate the first two vowel sounds, first articulating AHHHHHHH and then virtually screaming WAAAAAAAA," the motion said.

Clearly, Terri wants to live.
Or die, or whatever.

If It's on the Internet, It Must Be True

From the people who brought you human autotrophs - Man lives without a functioning heart:
"Blood vessels of the human heart are elastic and strong enough to pump blood. That is why Nikolai is still living, breathing and moving. His heart is alive; one may say that it is sleeping. Such a unique incident occurred as a result of his stress. A strong emotional experience results in a powerful hormone action, which affects the heart and vessels first and foremost."

Sure, sure.
